Jaipur

We got into Jaipur last night and said good-bye to Mumbai for now. Mumbai was a really great time, the city is so unique. We ate, drank and even went out dancing one night and not to mention we had tea at the famous Taj Hotel Sea Lounge. The flight to Jaipur was only an hour and fifteen minutes, but there was about an hour delay. This was to be expected, domestic travel is unpredictable but it's not really that inconvenient when you think it was on $40 for the flight! :)

We arrived at our hotel in Jaipur around 7 pm...and lets just say it is amazing. It's absolutely gorgeous, as you will be able to see in our pictures. We settled in our rooms and met in the dining room for a dinner buffet. This was no ordinary buffet, Indian food...western food and Thai!

Today Justin and I woke up and tested the "fitness center", followed by another great meal. The breakfast was delicious and Justin got a chance to try some traditional Indian breakfast items, such as aloo paratha and vada. He must of liked it because he went up for seconds.

After breakfast our guide met us in the hotel lobby and we were off to explore Jaipur. We went to the Ambar, where we road up to Ambar Fort on an elephant! Followed by a tour of the palace and gardens at the palace in Ambar. We then headed to Juntar Mentar, which has the largest stone sun dial in the world. We ended our tour at the City Palace, where the Maharaja still lives today! Needless to say, today has been jam packed with amazing sites! We are back at the hotel now, trying to upload some pictures of our adventure. Hopefully, pics will be posted today!

Tomorrow, we're off to see the Taj Mahal!
